DT Swiss XMC100
![]() |
Si is still waiting on his 140mm version, in Magnesium - so this review by Singletrack Magazine is just making him more impatient!
This review comes from the pen of Benji Haworth - I don't know him all that well, but enough to understand he's a bit of a fork freak (tyres too, if I'm right?) - anyhow, definitely the right man to test a fork to the limit. Take a look at his blog - right here
We'll not crib the whole review - better to go check that out yourself - it's over here. While you're there, I'd check out the rest of the site and magazine.
" for the six weeks that we’ve been riding the XMC100 they have been brilliant. Firm for power delivery and responsive handling. Nicely cushy for the small stuff. Stiff and capable on the rough stuff. A great fork. DT Swiss’ first attempt at a fully DT Swiss no-compromise fork is a winner."
One point of note - there's both Carbon and Magnesium lowered version of these forks. Benji tested the (more expensive) Carbon XMC, the Magnesium XMM knock £150 off the price, with the same great internals/performance. Either are available in 100, 120 or 140mm travel.
