Craft Baselayers
![]() |
Yes, it’s Friday night and I’m posting on here – but I’m cooking down some onions, so better to do something at the same time! It’s an explanation for kitchen worktop photos, rather than our usual doormat and chaotic desk pictures.
Matt H and I had a visit from the Craft rep on Thursday – initially just to drop off a catalogue, but we persuaded him to stay for a brew and a have chat through the range.
The conclusion was that we needed some items to try out – base layers is Craft’s main, err, craft – so that’s what we’re kicking off with. We’ve got a couple of the Be Active Extreme (also known as Zero Extreme) base layers to try out before we look at possibly stocking them.
The Be Active range is a polyester base layer range designed for active use in mid to cold conditions. The “Extreme” in the name refers to one of their fabrics, rather than extreme weather – but I’ll be testing this properly in the cold! Some nice features – flat lock stitches, decent fit and a lovely fabric feel, it’s promising so far.
Sells for £36
Matt’s also got some fancy bib shorts to try – more on that later?
