The EDC Lite works on a similar concept to the original EDC tool, but requires no modification to your fork in order to fit it. You drift the fork star nut further into the steerer using the supplied bolt, then use the plastic sleeve instead of the top cap to preload the headset. The tool is then stored inside the plastic sleeve.

Not compatible with Giant Overdrive 2, Cannondale Lefty or Carbon steerers.
